West Dawson RamblersBack by popular demand, comprising revered veterans of Yukon music, this band has a mission to have fun, pick, sing, and bring audience participation to never-before-seen levels of hysteria at a bluegrass festival. Kevin Barr, Rob Bergman, George McConkey, Marc Ladouceur, and Tim Jeffery are sure to put on a show!

Marc is an honorary Yukoner, attending nearly every KMBF, either as a performer (remember Down to the Wood?!) or a loyal volunteer—and usually both! Marc hails from Edmonton, and rambles up here as often as his musical commitments allow. Marc’s mandolin-playing is sure to entertain.

The other rambler, Tim (formerly of The Honky Tonk Heroes) is a multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and veteran of the Alberta music scene. He joins in this year on the dobro.

Kevin’s smooth vocals and solid rhythm guitar have entertained audiences both locally and internationally whether fronting the JUNO nominated Undertakin’ Daddies, performing with renowned Old Crow fiddler Boyd Benjamin, or performing solo on stages and around campfires.

Dawson City’s Harmonica George has dazzled the world with his harp and recently toured solo through the Czech Republic. He may seem like the quiet one of the group…but don’t be misled, he’s a corker!

Rob can be heard almost any night and in any genre, providing solid acoustic bass backup for a myriad of Yukon performers, including The Bergmans, Fawn Fritzen and Ryan McNally to name a few—he’s a popular guy!
