The Barrel Boys

Ontario bluegrass and roots band The Barrel Boys have spent the past decade crafting a distinctive sound that balances innovation and tradition. Renowned for the breathtaking vocal harmonies and instrumental prowess that are central to bluegrass, old-time, and country music, what really sets The Boys apart is the heartfelt original writing that continues to charm audiences across Canada. They have been featured on stages of all sizes across Canada, including Mariposa Folk Festival (ON), Folk Fest sur le Canal (QC), Northern Lights Bluegrass and Old-Tyme Festival (SK), Blueberry Bluegrass Festival (AB), and Salmon Arm ROOTSandBLUES (BC). Their third full-length album of original songs and tunes, titled Mainline, earned them a nomination for "Vocal Group of the Year" at the 2021 Canadian Folk Music Awards.
